SALE NOTE
In saleG8, many of our clients have an agent code associated against clients, i.e. A022 (vendor agent). Let’s say we set up agent A022 in saleG8 as an agriG8 user. We then send the agent an email with their password and details of where to access the agriG8 app from.
The agent then downloads the app on to their tablet or smart phone (or both). When the agent signs on, saleG8 will send the app all the clients that are associated with vendor agent A022, plus a list of product codes (stock codes) and some other techie stuff.
The agent can then use this client information to search and select an account and then autofill the fields associated with the vendor and the purchaser. Then the lot information is entered: quantity, product code, description, price, commission override and weight (if used). There is also a place when you can get the vendor and purchaser to sign.
A PDF of the Vendor information can be generated from the app and sent to the vendor. Likewise the same can be done for the purchaser.
When the sale note is complete the agent ‘sends to server’ which then creates a sale in saleG8. At the same time a PDF of the sale note is generated and sent to the administrator of the livestock team. After that the sale can be checked and processed like a normal sale. Sales are coded SN-A022-8 (sale note for agent A022, serial number 8).
The agent can have many sale notes in the pipe line. Sales can be created offline (no internet) and saved back to the server when in range. The sale notes are backed to your saleG8 server and be accessed from a desktop computer when back at a home office.

REPORTING
A new reporting feature has been added to agriG8. This allows agents to get up to date marketing information direct from the saleG8 business system. As well as be able to drill down in to specific documents associated with their clients. These documents are Credit Notes and Invoices. Depending on the security level activated the client documents can be extended to be able to view Statements, Payments, Receipts. This new function is access from a Reports menu item that appears in the left most menu.

GRAPHS
We have been busily working on a new feature that will provide the agent a visual representation of valuable marketing data. Agents will be able to view data:
per period
sold / purchased (where the agent has been involved in the transaction)
per product group
be able to layer data to compare metrics
per client (only associated with the agent)
This information will show when clients have sold or purchased in previous periods and what the comparative values are. Valuable insight can be gained from viewing this information. If the agent is looking for clients wishing to sell stock, the agent can view a past season or a similar past season to identify clients.
